Thank you very much in a sad time, my husband and I have to thank. On the morning of Tuesday, June 21 to his son, Scott, died after a long illness. We were staying at Tom's Cove Campground. We begin to close our trailer to put it in storage.

This is the weekly treatment with CCLS Septic really necessary or just increase sales?
I just had my septic tank pumped. Just buy the house and who knows when the septic tank is pumped past. My wife was convinced of the septic tank company to buy a gallon $ 60 CCLS to do a weekly chemical treatment baths. Is it really necessary to maintain the system or you only take $ 60? The house was built in 1961. I'd rather hear an honest answer from someone in the know "in this business, I have heard stories about how unnecessary some of the maintenance tank septic. Thanks!
Just a big upsell. Put a packet of dry yeast in the bathroom once a month. Also remember not to put anything in the toilet can not eat or drink!.

does anyone know what the basic cost of a septic system is? I’ve never had a septic system so I am interested in knowing what the cost would be and what maintenance is like. How often is the tank cleaned? How long does cleaning take? Are there monthly fees? Are septic tanks replaced after several years? I’ve read some material online, but would like to learn more from people who actually have or have had septic. Thanks!
We have a 500 gallon septic tank that is 30 years old for 2 people. This is very small.
It cost $165.00, the cheapest around, to have it pumped out and it takes about 25 minutes.
We have to flush root killer and Rid X every month. Grass roots can get in the lines.
Everything has to be done right or the “stuff” can back up into the house, and Man!
The county changed the rules about the septic tanks. People that are putting in new tanks have to put in the aerobic septic deal and it can cost $4,000 and up. Depends on the size.
Bleach, vinegar, cigarette butts, coffee grounds and grease are some of the things that can not go into them. Some things will stop things up.
The county has to inspect the new septic tanks and approve them.
Checking on the laws in your county will help.
