Septic System Clogged
How I can fix a clogged toilet?

After my son was a small business this morning, the toilet became clogged. I started sinking, then moved to pour hot water in the bathroom to try to bust up the blockage. The hot water seems to be helping the water goes down, but there are some in the bottom and that does not drain all the way. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I really do not have the money to pay a plumber at this time. You should probably also say that I live on 3 acres and has a septic system. Thanks for any help.

Yes Take a small snake and run it through the obstruction. It is easy to use, costs little, and be effective. Unfortunately, if the snake does not work have to call a plumber. They will run their pipes, and do it well, for a reasonable price.

sewer smell from my bathroom and breakfast?

I noticed these days the smell of sewage From my guest bathroom. I'm on a septic system and this bathroom is not used much, so I ran the water in the sink and the bathtub and pulled the chain to ensure that traps water and which did not help. I do not think the vent roof is blocked because there is no snow on the roof. Any ideas before calling a plumber?

The fact that you're on a system tank should not be a concern. The smell may be a number of things. Firstly, I would like to see in the sink and check the overflow. Sometimes things can be very serious and create an odor. Second, you can access the pipe from the sink where it penetrates the earth works? (In the concrete). Need to check that the tube is not cracked or broken. You can check the floor drain in the engine room and sometimes the smell can be moved to a house sound seems to come from a place where there is actually an area completely different. I doubt that your bathroom unless, of course, the seal has been spent. I guess that's how you can check. Make sure the seal is good and washed several times with soapy water around the base of the cup. If bubbles after a few own. Obviously only works when you have a tile floor or linoleum. Good luck.
