How does a lot of salt (NaCl), my septic system?
A guest is given a bath using about 3 1 / 2 pounds of salt in the water table. I pumped the septic tank two days later, but I'm worried about the long-term and short term.
I doubt even that too much salt will kill all bacteria in the tank. Once that has been pumped there should be consequences. You can add some bacteria in the tank to make sure you've had a good start.
