Need ideas for landscaping a hill of Wisconsin (septic system)?

We just put a lot of Wisconsin at our summer cottage (Required). It's huge – 18×25, 5 'tall. I'd rather not put grass on it, and do not want to mow the lawn, so I'm looking for something in a ground cover .. maybe. It is in full sun – no shade at all – and I can not put anything with deep roots in it (there are only 12 "of soil, and deep roots can ruin the system.) If I pull from my main house, I have full pink creeping sedum (stonecrop), some ajuga, lots of snow on the mountain (which I fear would be invasive) a lot of lambs ear and periwinkle few. Should I do what everyone in the stonecrop? I'm thinking of some perennials in the buffer zone (15 'front and behind the mound) – mainly the iris, day lily, coreopsis. Any ideas or great online resources for me? I'm looking for inspiration. Thanks!

Can anyone tell me the difference in price between a septic tank / soak away and a reed bed (ie water treatment system.) I'm starting to build my own house and do not think my land is suitable for a septic tank. Is there any ongoing costs and what exactly does a reed bed system entails? Laundry Foundation?

I have a cabin in northern Montana, but no running water or septic system. It is a well on the property and you want to build a laundry room next to the stand. I have an appointment for accessories and tanks and necessary, but now I wonder what is the best way to build foundation of the house cleaning. I intend to build a shed that is 8 'x 12', which will house toilet, sink, shower, washing machine and dryer, and the reservoir pressure inside. I am willing to do everything comfortably but now I'm stuck on what to do for the foundation. I prefer to lay some gravel bottom and will be based on rank. I do not really poor or excavating concrete pillars. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. I suppose I should say that I am concerned about the year basis, but my favorite is any movement in the shed can cause a break in the water and sewer. Is there a way to prevent this?
