Septic System Holding Tank
No building permit gratification?
Is it possible to get a building permit for a parcel that dare not? The house would have a Septic sealed (a holding tank). I know I would have to be pumped every two months. But what if it was a one room house, and had a 3000 gallon tank? Possible? (I'm New England)
You have to use a design that is approved in your area. The county can say what is allowed in them, none of us can. In some areas this is allowed – especially if there is a housing shortage and the county is promoting new affordable housing. In addition, can be a time when the county or city plans to extend sewer service to your area (doubtful I know, a long shot) and adopt a precautionary measure this type. Other area simply does not. You have to ask the approving authority.

I wish I knew how to build a small pump boat for personal use.?
I trailer my boat and need to empty the storage tanks head in our private septic system.
The answer to your question is a diaphragm pump. ITT Watching them and are available in marine stores and even hardware stores. I searched Google for "whale pumps and is a good image in the Boaters World website. I suppose your local hardware can have one. Get plastic not metal. Or, a water hose platform at the head, and a 11 / 2 "hose from the pump to septic system, and flush I agree …….. in some of the chemicals can end the use Bact. but only temporarily.
