Need legal advice about a sewer line / Plumbing Problem?
My house is almost 100 years had only to replace our sewer line, as it was Orangeburg pipe had collapsed and sewage seeps into our basement. after continuous renewal of the wastewater is filtered in our basement. We had the plumber out and see things, is that neighbors to the north and east of us are tied to the old leaking drain pipe. We can not continue to waste water running in our basement stinks our house, is a health hazard and is not good especially since I am pregnant. What can we do legally so that our neighbors to their own sewer lines and stop using an old party. are not having any copy of Sewage and security do not see a problem … not have backup, because our basement has become the neighborhood of the septic system, please help
Call Environmental Health, is a county office as soon as possible in the morning. They will be in all this.
