How I can re-open the drain field for my septic system?
Incoming deflector broke and the tank was full of roots trees. (Now clean) the machine is sent directly to the side (now transferred to the tank) system age: 17 years, we have property for Four months.
If you reopen your drainfield means getting absorb water again, this is problematic. A drain field fails to operate due to overloading hydrolic biological and overloading. To get rid of the biological slime layer that develops must rest on the drain field (per month). This also allows overload hydrolic to correct itself. I rested my leach field to six (weeks) greywater output into a dry well (shower, washing machine) and black Redoubt water (sewage) to a minimum. It is sent to the tank, the tank is filled by water that is not going to the field drain (use a bathroom portapotty camping and waste dump directly into the septic tank (pain in the ass), but is better than paying $ 25,000 for a new septic system. Chlorine is called oxyseptic oxygen, is the same as oxyclean ago. Converts the anaerobic (without oxygen) to aerobic (with oxygen) to allow bacteria normal repopulation of the leaching field. (Eliminates the smell of rotten eggs). So far, I have tried once have been capable of pumping 300 gallons directly in the drain field, without going back. Maybe I'm just lucky, but its worth a try to save 25Grand. Good luck

I have a bad odor in my laundry. this is a new house and is on a septic system.?
in the laundry there is a wastewater well that is not using wastewater as a basement bathroom is not complete. the sewage pit used to collect condensation from the furnace / ac. remover Iron and dump water conditioner when you download it periodically. is a trap that is set below the drain. the smell was begun a few months ago and incidents were every 3-4 days. now every other day. the smell is mostly from ground level to just above ground level. is concentrated around the pit wastewater. I had my plumber check it out and re-sealed and even apply extra sealant, but 12 hours later, the smell came back. ?!…. I am baffled and do not know what else to do. please help?! I've tried to pour water into the trap. there is no smell coming from the trap.
make sure the septic vent pipe on the roof is not blocked with leaves or a bird's nest.
