Advice on septic tank aerator motor please.?

We had the engine repaired twice in our system, septic tank aeration. The first time was shortly after it took was installed too low and the rain that flooded. The next time was after he received his annual inspection by the county health department, which are functioning correctly, but failed to inform us that an air filter it is necessary to clean, so eventually clog and overheat the engine. That was more than $ 500 to fix. Now, more than a year later, I found the weekend air hose had vibrated off so it was running, but does not actually inject air into the tank. I reattached the filter and clean the surface of waste. A week I just got back later in ensuring that the air hose is properly connected and now the engine and air hose are very hot to touch. I know for a motor large power and produce heat, but I wonder if something goes wrong again. I need some advice please.

If you can find the plate on the motor you can tell what the temperature increase in relation to ambient temperature. This could help you. Also, if your area is having some problems blackout this will also cause the engine runs hotter. Regards, Dale

Operate the aerators septic system in a "closed" system tank?

I am not an expert on septic systems, closed system but I mean what I might term a traditional system. IE-D reservoir box, fingers or drainfield.

Not generally. Most ventilation systems are the drainage systems, which means it takes to a tile, ditch, a stream or other watercourse. There is some ventilation systems are ahead of the leach fields or mound systems. If you want to know exactly what type of system you have, then you contact your local government agency that inspects septic systems for household use (Ministry of Health in my area). Must have a copy of the authorization when the system was installed and, possibly, a diagram of where the system is and where or what the releases. For more information on the type of ventilation system, such as how to keep, what to do to give you more time, please contact me.
