the amount of electricity needed my house?
I am building a new house and need to know the amount (Watt) power supply required. I made a list of my equipment. * Indicates everyday ** indicates the constant use of light ** Fish Tank: 18W * Computer: 850 W x 2 phone charger: 5v x 2 Oven:? * Caldera: ** 2200W refrigerator: freezer ** 725w: 725w Microwave: 1100W * Washer: iron 500w: TV 1400W: 120w vacuum: toaster 1440w: 1400W * Pump well: 1100W (A guess) ** aerator septic: * 120w light globes energy saving: 18w x 10 welder:? Sander: Grinder 800w: 700w The house is 112m2 and has 2 people who live in it. We will have about 9 power points. The hot water system and stove top is gas. You will not need aricon or heating. I live in Australia. I also like to know, if you only need (for example) on the 200w, is more expensive to make provision for 400 or more? What is the difference? Thanks for any help.
You give the wattage of the elements, but what you need is the amp and voltage devices that are used in living 120 V or 240 V, then you should be able to find the amp you will need. (Amps = watts divided by voltage) if the total is 16,000 watts and watts voltage is 240v 66 amps then you would if run all at once I doubt you would.
