We have a plot of land in the southern Ulster County and receive approval Boh to install a septic tank system. The permit is for a limited time, and because the housing market can not sell our current home in order to meet the capital to build everything you would normally. If we let the permit expire, we have to pay for the engineering done it again, in addition to paying fees permission and wait for approval again. Another risk is that the rules may change and the land does not happen, or happen in a more limited: the way (read expensive). Therefore, we would like to install the septic and then build the house as soon as possible. Is this possible? What are the concerns? I will call building department, but it is difficult to reach people there.
I have no idea where Ulster County, but you can in Colorado, I have. They only issue I had was for some subcontractors to drive their trucks on the septic tank and leech field, when I was not.
